Following the announcement on 6 January 2021 that all GCSE exams this summer will be cancelled and replaced with teacher assessed grades, I would like to confirm that once the specifics of calculating grades are known, we will be in a better position to answer any queries you may have. At the moment, we have not received any additional information as a school/teaching body other than what was shared by Gavin Williamson yesterday.
Please encourage pupils to continue to attend live lessons and complete all work set in the comings weeks. As mentioned, we do not know the specifics of how we will be asked to generate teacher assessments so the only thing that pupils can do at this moment in time is to continue to work hard in the hope that it does have an impact on grades.
