One of our youngest ever cast of pupils performed a most amazing production of ‘Oliver!’ along with backstage crew consisting of pupils and staff.
The musical was the result of months of rehearsals and many, many hours of hard work for all involved as they performed to three delighted packed audiences, a total of 800 people. Mount Carmel invited partner primary school pupils along to watch two of the shows and received lots of complimentary feedback from everyone.
The show included solo & group singing, choreographed dances and acting performances as professional as you would find in any theatre.
Performing Arts Curriculum Leader Miss Bell and Music teacher Miss Javaid should feel extremely proud of the result of many months of hard work they have devoted to this production. Well done to them and to everyone else who worked so hard both on stage and behind the scenes making this production a great success.
