WEEK 2 CHALLENGE

Make a difference in a minute

The R.E. department have challenged our pupils to become young writers, using the inspiration of Amanda Gorman (the youngest American presidential inaugurational poet) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-55738564

Pupils can write a poem, a rap, a song or blog which could be read or performed in a minute or less.

This would reflect the ideas discussed in this week’s reflection e.g. equality, not taking things for granted, being resilient young people. Maybe think about how their beliefs have kept them in a positive frame of mind.

Entries are to be submitted to The R.E. department via the Microsoft Teams form link that will be issued by Friday 29th at 9am.

We look forward to reading your inspirational work.

We will share some of the best ideas to help inspire others and prizes will be awarded each week.
