During the summer a pond was dug in the ECO garden and is attracting lots of interest from pupils at break time and lunch times.

The pupils have detected lots of wildlife activity in it and the first frog was spotted in it last Friday.

A couple of pupils have been helping Mr Blair and have been in the pond in their wellies which was great fun.  Further modelling of the pond and planting will continue over the Autumn term.

A fruit tree will be planted for this year 7 intake. Year 7s have shown great interest in the eco area at break times with many attending as it is a quieter, tranquil space and they love the pigeons.

As part of the Year 7 R.E. curriculum pupils are going to plant bulbs. This will be part of the new 'Creation and Covenant' section of the specification.
