The Crazy for Science inter-primary quiz took place hosted by Mount Carmel science department.
Nine teams of 4 pupils from five schools competed with approx 50 family and primary staff coming along to support them. The quiz consisted of exciting practical challenges and quiz rounds on tablet computers.
Mount Carmel pupils assisted and were great ambassadors for the school during the course of the evening and Mount Carmel PTFA served refreshments to the visitors. An online parents quiz and a raffle also took place.
The Crazy for Science winners for 2022 were Sacred Heart primary Team B and they were presented with the prestigious trophy, certificates, chocolates and badges.
The team from St. Nicholas’ came in second place and Team A from Sacred Heart came in third place.
Thank you to the teams from St. Oswald's, St. Mary's Oswaldtwistle and Hippings who also participated, they all received Mount Carmel Science Superstar certificates.
