As part of the 100-year anniversary of the BBC, the 'Share Your Story' roadshow came to Mount Carmel to promote BBC Bitesize careers.
They brought a panel of guests who work in story telling industries, presented by Radio 1 presenter Robyn Richford with guests Chris Regan (a BBC researcher), Jessica Mills (Creative Director of social media company Just Bee Social) and Joshua Parker (a producer for Bigtank Video Production).
They spoke about their career journeys, what their jobs are like, the importance of soft skills and how to look out for opportunities to practice them. There was also a Q&A at the end of each of the four sessions throughout the day. Pupils asked some fantastic questions and learned a lot.
