The staff, pupils and governors of Mount Carmel R.C. High School would like to wish Fr. Francis Wadsworth a very happy Silver Jubilee on 13th June 2023.
A Mass of Thanksgiving for the Gift of the Priesthood will take place at 7.00pm tonight at St. Joseph's, Belgarth Road, Accrington. Representatives from Mount Carmel will be in attendance.
A priest's jubilee is a time for personal celebration but also an opportunity to celebrate and honour the vocation to the priesthood and all our priests, through whom we can receive the most holy sacraments of the Church.
We also give thanks for the graces the Lord has worked through Fr. Francis during the past twenty-five years and more recently with his commitment to supporting our school and community.
