All Year 7 Mount Carmel pupils were involved in an Ecology Butterfly project recently during their Science lessons.
Each pupil cared for a butterfly pupae for a period of 3 weeks studying and observing how the butterflies emerged from their Chrysalis'. They then helped release the butterflies into the school Eco garden.
The project was led by Assistant Curriculum leader for science Mrs Haworth and involved all the science department.
