We formally welcomed our Year 7 pupils with a Welcome Mass attended by families of the pupils and Headteacher's from our partner Catholic primary schools.
Year 7 pupils took part in their Welcome Mass at Mount Carmel, marking a month since they joined us. The celebration gave them a wonderful opportunity to grow in their understanding of our faith and liturgy.
We were so impressed by their outstanding behaviour, heartfelt singing, and the way they joined in with the prayers.
Thank you to Fr Francis for celebrating Mass with us, we appreciate Fr Francis’ friendship and kindness to our school. Fr Francis reminded our pupils of the importance of the Beatitudes and the teachings of Jesus – guiding us to live as God’s people and to be successful in school and beyond.
As it was also CAFOD Family Fast Day we donated £500 to the charity.
