Mount Carmel Reading Mentors were thanked for all their work over the Autumn term by Headteacher Mr Bowers.
The scheme is organised by Assistant Curriculum Leader for English Mrs Bowers and involves a team of over 30 Year 10 pupils who three times a week before their own lessons begin spend time with other younger pupils developing their reading skills.
They were thanked for their dedication to this role and given a gift of a selection box.
