Congratulations to all our Year 11 pupils on an excellent set of 2022 GCSE examination results.  This cohort of pupils are the first to sit exams since 2019 and have had to cope with the challenges of a global COVID pandemic. They fully deserve the grades they have been awarded.

Congratulations also to our hardworking and dedicated staff and supportive parents who have once again worked so hard to ensure all pupils achieve the very best results possible.  We would also like to sincerely thank governors, Lancashire LA and Salford Diocese for their continued support.

Our initial school analysis suggests that, regarding the overall key government school performance measures, we have made significant improvements in attainment and progress across the curriculum. Overall, the 2022 results are better than the 2019 results (the last time pupils sat external exams) and once again clearly demonstrate how the school continues to go from strength to strength in all aspects.

As a school, we recognise the determination and resilience that pupils have shown during the global COVID pandemic. In the next few days, we will be working hard as a school to ensure that all our Year 11 pupils secure a place on a course of their choice at a local post 16 provider.
