Mount Carmel English department took 142 pupils to watch the annual production of 'Blood Brothers' at Liverpool Empire Theatre.
This is a set text studied by pupils in Year 10 for their English Literature GCSE. Although a late night, the pupils relished in the opportunity to see the text live on stage; it was a privilege to see the text in its truest form.
Miss Hurlstone, Acting Curriculum Leader for English commented "All pupils were exemplary and took a lot away from the production. A great evening had by all!"
