Year 7 and 8 Science pupils attended an engaging, entertaining and educational STEM roadshow, supported by BAE Systems, The Royal Air Force, and The Royal Navy.
The theme of the show was Artificial Intelligence, AI. This highly interactive show explored the possibilities of AI in our everyday life and for the future.
The Robotic Dog called Lexi, which used AI technology to respond to commands, run on four legs, walk on two and describe whqt it could see was a highlight for our pupils!
Mount Carmel Pupils came up with inspirational ideas, which with the help of AI programmes, created the lyrics, music and video for a newly AI generated song,
Thank you to the team from the STEM Roadshow, Matt, Sophie and Kat for delivering such a memorable event and providing an insight into the types of opportunities available to pupils who want to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
