Mount Carmel offered a Transition Summer School for Year 6 pupils who were due to begin as new Year 7 admissions in September.
The theme of the programme was 'A Family of Faith & Learning' based on our school strapline and overall ethos.
- Family:- pastoral activities such as getting to know each other and building friendships
- Faith:- activities based on the school mission and ethos
- Learning:- Pupils learned about the history of Accrington and Mount Carmel
Around 80 pupils attended and there was plenty of opportunity to make new friendships, to meet staff and to get to know their way around school. Team building tasks were delivered through P.E. and Forest school.
