Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Lent Food Bank collection for Accrington Christians Together Food Bank at St. James' Church.
Each form group was given a 'Bingo' card listing items for pupils to donate. Form 7C were the first form to complete their Bingo card and some of them are pictured here with their form tutor Miss Mortensen.
We received enough donations to fill 2 shopping trolleys! Items included food, toiletries, babies nappies, snacks and chocolates.
An amazing £100 was also collected which we donated as an Asda voucher to enable the food bank to buy items most needed.
The volunteers at the Food Bank were delighted to receive all the donations and we received a lovely letter of thanks from them.
